

Your
product is conveyed along a vibrating
feeder which
distributes
the product
evenly across its width. It is then
accelerated
down
a chute from
where
it passes
into free fall in
a
single layer,
enabling each
individual
particle to be moni-
tored.
As
it falls the material is
examined
from two sides by
highfrequency
cameras. In this
way
virtually the entire surface
of
each particle is registered.
The
pictorial information obtained
is
passed to a data processing
centre
where it is evaluated.
The
entire colour spectrum is analysed here at a resolution of
0.3
mm, allowing very detaileddetection and registration of
colour
characteristics.
